We believe students anchored in the Word learn to walk with Christ, grow in godly friendships, and serve with joy and purpose.

THIRST exists to come alongside parents in the shepherding and discipleship of the next generation. Through Christ-centered teaching, intentional relationships, and opportunities to serve, we desire to see students grow in spiritual maturity, stand firm in their faith, and live out their calling to love God and love others.

Weekly gatherings, special events, and retreats throughout the year allow students to build meaningful relationships, deepen their love for Jesus, and become further rooted in the life of the church. These rhythms remind us that students thrive when they are connected to the body of Christ — learning, serving, and growing alongside believers of all ages within the congregation. Youth ministry is a training ground that shapes a lifelong love for Christ’s church and a desire to participate fully in it.

We are always looking for more help, whether that be leading a small group or creatively fostering times of fellowship (i.e. setting up fun hangs). We are committed to raising up the next generation of worship leaders—students who serve with humility, skill, and a heart anchored in Christ. The Youth Worship Band gives students room to grow musically, deepen their understanding of worship, and help lead our Sunday night gatherings in song. If you’re interested in singing, playing an instrument, or serving with audio or video, reach out to Kelly or Tony Book to learn more.

“Pouring Out” is our outreach arm devoted to serving our church family and local community with compassion and Christlike love. Students take part in service projects, partner with local ministries, and learn to look beyond themselves to meet real needs. Scripture calls us to this kind of active faith (Philippians 2:4). If you’d like to participate, we’d love to connect you with upcoming opportunities.

THIRST retreats take place twice a year, gathering students in both the winter and summer for focused time to seek the Lord, build community, and grow in their faith. Through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and shared experiences, students are encouraged and strengthened as they form “iron sharpening iron” friendships. It’s one of the best ways to connect deeply and grow spiritually.
