Hey everyone,
Fantastic job this morning! Wow. Y’all are basically already professionals ;)
Couple reminders:
1) Make sure to practice at home with the audio files! Wherever I (Shawna) am singing, that’s where the kids sing!
2) If you didn’t get a copy of the lyrics, (or lose them) no fear, there are PDF files of the lyrics
right here on church center under resources. 3) We will go over “What Child Is This” briefly next week and then focus on the song “Glory/Let There Be Peace”.
4) Auditions for “Away In A Manger” will be held next week. Please be rehearsing Verse 1. There is now the audio files available to rehearse with. Practice with the melody + piano version to start and then move on to just the piano version. We will take time next Sunday the 9th probably toward the latter half of rehearsal to hold auditions. If we run out of time, we may also finish up the auditions the following Sunday the 16th. Be prepared for both!
*Remember* if you don’t get picked for the solo, I still need your help with this song! Those of you who audition are my strong singers and I need you to help with the harmony parts in this same song! You will help to either lead the younger kids in the melody or harmony parts! I’m counting on you all. And if we have lots of interest in solos, I can keep that in mind for next year ;)
