Beginning March 15th, English classes will be held at the church on Mondays from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Classes are free and childcare is provided. If you are interested in helping or attending, please call Kristin Langley (954-0431).
Join us on the following Sundays from 1:00 – 1:45 at Paramount Parks in Eagle. If you’d like to help by leading music or a devotional, or just come to visit with the residents, please contact John Fearey (322-6398). This opportunity is available every other Sunday.
Do you want to be part of a weekly time of prayer for the needs of friends and family, our church body, and this country? If so, please call the church office (375-8172) to let us know your preferred time and day so we can choose a time to meet the desires of the most men interested in this weekly ministry.
Beginning in January, Jason Wolin will be teaching a class, Biographies of Great Christian Missionaries, for the Charnock Institute of the Bible. The class will be held at Lake Hazel Bible Church on Thursdays at 10 a.m. beginning January 21st. Contact Charnock Institute of the Bible (642-4632) for more information or to register.
Faith Community Bible Church now has a kids’ choir! We performed our first song two weeks ago and had a blast. At this time we are rehearsing at the beginning of children’s chapel during 2nd service. We are using music from a Sovereign Grace Ministries CD called To Be Like Jesus. Each song teaches about one of the Fruits of the Spirit. Right now we’re working on the first fruit in a song called Because You First Loved Me. If your children would like to participate but attend first service, feel free to stay for just the choir portion of chapel (which lasts for approximately 10 minutes and occurs directly after the kids are dismissed to their classes during second service). Melody Mitchell will be ordering several copies of the CD for purchase by the families of FCBC. For this and other questions, please call Melody at 658-6656.
Please be thinking about and praying about how you might be involved in the 2010 Mexico missions trip. In early January there will be an informational meeting which will give the overview, purpose and details of the trip.

Ladies, you are invited to join us for the first Women’s Fellowship of the year. We are going to have a Tea, on Saturday, April 10th at 12 noon at the church. Our luncheon will be sweets and savories followed by a time of sharing and then a service exchange. Bring a service (babysitting, cook a meal, haircut, organizing, mending, “you name it”, etc.) in an envelope that you would like to give to another woman. A donation of $5 would be appreciated for the Tea. Please sign up at church on Sunday or call Lisa Wolin (272-9361) if you have any questions.
Because many from our church will be away at Men’s Retreat this weekend, we have decided to have only one service on Sunday morning, April 25th. Please tell your friends and anyone you’ve invited to church that we’d love to have them come and visit, but our only service April 25th will be at 10:45 a.m. Thank you!
Men’s Retreat is Friday, April 23rd to Sunday, April 25th at Camp Pinewood in McCall. Our speaker is John Dunkin, pastor of Whitney Baptist Church. Cost is $65, with $30 due at registration (beginning March 7th). Scholarships are available.
We had so much fun at Family Camp last year that we decided to add a third night this year! It will be held at Trinity Pines and runs from Thursday, August 12, through Sunday, August 15th. Please save the dates for some great fun and fellowship with your church family!
