Small Groups
As a church we are committed to providing opportunities for you to build strong deep relationships with other believers. Intentional relationships are a necessity to sustained spiritual growth. In our small groups, we study God’s word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where we pray, care for one another, and are missed if we don’t show up.
You are invited to become a part of a small group at any time. Following is a list of the groups and what they are studying. Contact the host or the person who is leading the small group to find out more specific information about their group.
If you need help in deciding about a small group or have any questions, please contact the church office (375-8172).

Study in 1 – 3 John – Using a study book from the Navigators’ Life Change Series, we will study how to become overcomers in life. Each week we will have stimulating discussion about the truth we are discovering in these epistles with the goal of applying the truth we see to our daily life. One word that is repeated in 1st John is the word “know”; it is used 36 times. “By this we know…” not think, not hope, not wish, not feel, but know for certain.

Studying James – With the assistance of a study guide from the Navigators Life Change Series, we will study the book of James. He exhorts, counsels, and urges us to see our troubles from God’s perspective, and not to use them as an excuse to do wrong. James teaches us about a faith that works. Faith that grows strong because it consistently takes hold of God and allows Him to use the pressures in our lives to our benefit, as well as to the wonder of people around us, and definitely to His own glory.
