Home Fellowship Groups

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Our Home Fellowship Groups (HFG’s) are people connecting consistently for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer for the purpose of life change in our intimacy with God, community with each other, and influencing unbelievers.

Jesus called us to be disciples and to make disciples. One of the best ways discipleship happens is with a group of friends doing life together. We encourage everyone at Faith Community Bible Church (FCBC) to get involved in an HFG’s.

Our goal is to provide environments where people can talk comfortably about their life and faith; environments that feel like family…places where authentic sharing, praying, and connecting can take place.

HFG’s provide something you cannot get from attending other things going on at FCBC. Our small groups are not a substitute for regular attendance at our Sunday morning service or a substitute for being involved in ministering somewhere in our church.

Our HFG promise: To provide a predictable small-group environment where participants experience authentic Christian community and spiritual growth.

In order to keep our promise, we have several small group values. Following are the values we try to maintain for each HFG:

· Each fellowship will have a leader and host.

· Each fellowship will meet on a specific night at a specific place.

· The fellowship sessions will begin and end at a specific time.

· The fellowship time will typically consist of Bible study, sharing, and prayer.

· Group members will attend and participate on a regular basis. Members agree to pray for other group members on a regular basis.

· Each fellowship is encouraged to do social and ministry events together.

· Childcare is available.
