"Glorifying God by pointing the affections of all peoples to the all satisfying person of Jesus Christ"

Faith Community Bible Church

Children's Ministry

Sunday Morning provides a unique opportunity for the children of FCBC to learn about God and his love for them at a level they can understand. Recently, FCBC adopted the 252 Basics curriculum (http://whatisorange.org/252basics/ ), which centers on the 3 basics truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:

  • I need to make the wise choice
  • I can trust God no matter what
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated

God-Centered Children’s Curriculum

As our curriculm states: “Our passion is to see elementary school students enter middle school eager to discover more about God. We believe as they experience the wonder of God and are drawn into discovering how He touches every aspect of life, then a passionate faith will grow. What could be more satisfying than young students discovering that their true identity rests in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ?”

This is FCBC’s desire. That all people, including children and their parents, should be pointed in their affections to the all-satisfying person of Jesus Christ!

A normal Sunday morning consists of a chapel time with worship, a comedic host and a biblical storytime revolving around the monthly theme and memory verse. Students are split up into smaller classes with dedicated teacher who help them apply the concept in a meaningful way to their life.

Sunday Morning Schedule

Infants (0-1) and Toddlers (age 2-3) can be dropped off at their classes before the service begins. Older children (3 years to 5th grade) will be dismissed to Sunday School before the sermon begins. Parents of 3-year-olds, please speak with one of the teachers to find out where your child should be placed.

Contact Toby Palin (230-3772) or Boe Holbrook (850-0009) for further details or to help out with Sunday School, or Morgan Turner (938-9211) to help in the nursery.
