Children's Ministry
Sunday Morning provides a unique opportunity for the children of FCBC to learn about God and his love for them at a level they can understand. Recently, FCBC has adopted the curriculum from the ministry of John Piper. Below is a quote describing the content’s intention.
God-Centered Children’s Curriculum
The greatest need children have is to know and cherish the infinite value of God. Therefore, we want children to become so acquainted with the Word of God that they treasure Him alone as the One who saves and satisfies the heart. The goal of our curriculum is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.
Where do we want our children to be 10 or 20 years from now? Can churches grow mighty oaks of righteousness without intentionally nurturing the saplings under their care? The deep-rooted faith we desire for our children—a faith that weathers the storms of life and bears fruit for the glory of God—is nurtured by a systematic plan to partner with parents in communicating greatness of God, the glory of Christ, and the power of the Gospel.
This is FCBC’s desire. To grow “mighty oaks of righteousness,” we must train our children up in the way they should go.
Sunday Morning Schedule
Infants (0-1) and Toddlers (age 2) can be dropped off at their classes before the service begins. Older children will be dismissed to Children’s Chapel before the sermon begins.
