    "And God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath." What an image of the wrath of God! It certainly supports or explains Zeph. 1:13 "I will punish the men who are complacent, those who say in their hearts, the Lord will not do good, nor will he do ill." Man in his foolish thinking believes the God is powerless to do either good or evil, but in that great and terrible day of the Lord the truth will be revealed. Those who chose not to believe in God will drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. This cup will be without mercy. The time has long past for mercy or grace. What a revelation!

    Lord,
    Give me urgency to share the message of Your saving grace while there is still time.
    In the name of Your Son,
    Amen
