Small Groups

Jim Stout

FCBC has small groups that meet in homes throughout Boise, Meridian and Eagle. These groups are meant to help us grow in our knowledge of God, and deepen relationships within the body by discussing the application of God’s Word, discussing the issues and challenges of life, and praying together. If you would like general information on small groups or need direction deciding which group would work best for you, contact Jim.

Men's Ministry

Jed Matson

Men's ministries exists to direct the affections of men to the all-satisfying person of Jesus Christ.  We accomplish this through our regularly scheduled men’s events which include weekly morning Bible studies, quarterly breakfasts, and an annual men’s retreat.  In addition to the formal events, many informal gatherings exist to strengthen bonds between the men of our church. As men gather to ride bikes or jog, meet for coffee or lunch, etc, the walls come down and there is increased comfort in sharing victories and struggles as we follow Jesus. We encourage all the men at Faith to initiate relationships through any of the means mentioned above. Contact Jed with any questions.

Youth Ministry

Trent Houck

The youth ministry at FCBC is all about pointing people to Jesus Christ, the life-giving source of hope, joy and satisfaction! Our youth group, for Jr. High and Senior High school students, is called THIRST. All of us know what physical thirst feels like. Jesus used that sensation to describe a need that all of us have for something more important than even water.

Our basic philosophy is this:

  • To build a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • To build dynamic relationships with fellow believers.
  • To build dynamic relationships with unbelievers and share the love of Christ with them.

Children's Ministry

Boe Holbrook                                    Jeremy Putman

Our aim is to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relation to Him, and to establish them with a foundation of doctrine and truth. We want them biblically grounded, seeing God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered world view and a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come. We want them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, and to delight in Him forever. Contact Boe (grades Toddler - Kindergarten) or Jeremy (grades 1st - 5th) for more information.

Mark Falconer

Many missions opportunities exist so our church has developed a set of core values which assists us in both determining what ministries to be involved with and where to focus our energies within those ministries.

Our goal is to be a body of world-impacting followers of Christ who are partnering with our brothers and sisters here in Boise, Idaho and around the world to produce ever-multiplying churches all around our city, this country, and to the ends of the earth. Contact Mark with any questions or to get involved with our Missions ministry.

Counseling ministry

David O'Hara

God has answers to our deepest problems, and we hope to point you to his all-satisfying person. Everyone needs counsel at some point to help understand and respond to issues in life. Whether the issues are related to marriage, family, finances, depression, abuse, or a thousand other struggles, we all get stuck and overwhelmed and need the help of a caring, trusted counselor.
